Highlights of my Substack Reading
Substack reads of 2024
So I wasn’t going to upload anything today, as I’m having some writer’s block on where to take my story, but I got a few substack articles of people listing what they’ve read this Summer, so why not?
P.S. I had no idea Substack would put together one for me, still learning more about Substack. Lol!
He is a Christian Substack writer and teacher who uploads articles on many topic ranging from: Philosophy, history, current events, etc. I’m pretty sure he’s in the traditionalist christian camp.
My favorite article of his is one on Teddy Roosevelt and his family.
Up Next The Lake of Lerna:
He does deep dives into media and culture. His most recent series dived into the drama surrounding Dan Schneider and his shows and what it was really like for the cast on set.
Here's his first article article on "Dirty Dan"
Here's his other Substack Simian Fiction where he uploads short fiction
At Bros Krynn, they upload their own stories as well as analysis articles on different characters or moral codes from stories like Star Wars, The Last Samurai, Dracula, etc.
A link to a table of contents for essays on chivalry and other codes of honor.
Here's their Youtube channel as well.
Finally we have The Enchiridion:
He is of Scottish descent and believes in a clannish Monarchist system and believes in revering his ancestors. He has a variety of articles ranging from poetry, history (his own family history history), and some politics.
Here's his most recent article outlining his beliefs.
Thank you for taking the time to read and enjoy my content and don’t worry, I will get back to my Survivalist story too, it’s just writer’s block is a bitch. Peace
